This session explores how architectural and interior design can intentionally shape both guest behavior and bartender performance. We will dive into the spatial psychology behind bar layouts, lighting, acoustics, materials, seating plans, and back-bar organization, revealing how each design choice influences ordering patterns, dwell time, efficiency, and emotional comfort. By examining the bar as a dual-sided ecosystem, we’ll highlight how thoughtful design can simultaneously elevate the guest journey and streamline the bartender workflow, ultimately creating environments that feel intuitive, profitable, and future-ready.
