Water is the most overlooked ingredient in cocktails - yet it shapes flavor, texture, and balance more than any other component. This seminar dives into the science and artistry of water chemistry, exploring how TDS, minerals, and pH influence dilution, mouthfeel, and taste. Attendees will learn why spirits are proofed with specific waters, how mineral content alter cocktail profiles, and how precision bartenders use water as a creative tool. Through guided tastings of identical cocktails made with different waters, participants will experience first hand how subtle changes create dramatic results. With insights from a water sommelier, a pioneering bar owner, and a precision cocktail expert, this session ignites a new level of understanding for bartenders and educators.

Seminars will be hosted at the Ritz-Carlton, New Orleans and will range from 60-90 minutes. Brands will receive logo placement on the TOTC2025 agenda and signage and have the opportunity to have their product served during their sponsored seminar.

Seminar sponsorships are responsible for the underwriting of the spirits served and will be ordered through the Foundation.
