This seminar is a deep dive into one of the most common—yet often overlooked—ingredients in the cocktail world: orange liqueurs. When was the first orange liqueur created? Were oranges always accessible? And how do you decide between a Curaçao and a Triple Sec? In this session, we’ll explore the origins of orange liqueurs, their production methods, the often-debated topic of sugar content, and their applications in cocktails. We will conclude with a guided comparative tasting of the following brands: * Combier * Cointreau * Grand Marnier * Pierre Ferrand Dry Curaçao * Mandarine Napoléon * Llord’s Blue Curaçao Our panel will include a botanist from the UC Riverside research center, a Brand Ambassador from Cointreau or Pierre Ferrand Dry Curaçao, and a cocktail expert who will break down practical usage behind the bar.

Seminars will be hosted at the Ritz-Carlton, New Orleans and will range from 60-90 minutes. Brands will receive logo placement on the TOTC2025 agenda and signage and have the opportunity to have their product served during their sponsored seminar.
